Dr. Michael J. McDowell is the Founding and Senior Pastor of Rapha Revival Ministries (RRM), a thriving autonomous Full Gospel Assembly in Diego Martin, North-West Trinidad.
Dr. McDowell has an “Earned” Doctorate in Theology (Th.D.) 2001; A Master’s Degree in Theology (M.Th.) 1999; A Bachelor’s Degree in Pastoral Theology (BA) 1994; and a Diploma in Theology (Dip.Th.) 1990. Dr. McDowell has also done undergraduate work at the University of the West Indies, 1975 and at McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada -1979-1980. His G.C.E. O’ and A’ Level subjects were secured at Fatima College, Mucurapo, Trinidad.
He taught Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the Secondary (High) School Level for many years. He ran Track at Club level in Trinidad and Tobago; for McMaster University on the OUAA circuit; and at Maple Leaf Indoor International Games & Highlander’s International Games. He was the founder and coach of the Trail Blazers Track Club.
He has been studying the subject of Eschatology for the last 35 years. He is an in-demand Bible Prophecy Conference Speaker and has ministered all over Trinidad and Tobago; Many of the islands of the Caribbean; New York, Washington DC, Egg Harbour NJ, Chicago, Harrisburg PA, Knoxville, Raleigh and many other cities in the United States; As well as in Canada; Israel; and Africa.
He is the Founder and President of the International Institute of Biblical Eschatology (IIBE) 2017. Dr. McDowell is also a member of the Evangelical Theological Society (ETS), an international society of Christian Scholars. In November 2009 at the 61st Annual Meeting of the ETS, in New Orleans, LA, he was selected to deliver a Paper entitled – “Laodicean-Age Post-Modern Thought and the Ethical Dangers of Horizontal Gene Transfer.”
Pastor McDowell has ministered on Radio and Television and his program “Revealing the Truth” presently airs on 98.1FM. RRM is presently preparing to do its own Television Production. He has also authored five books and a sixth book will be published soon. He believes that God has given RRM a Nation-Changing Anointing and his passion is to take the End-Time Message to the Nations of the earth.
Eppie McDowell is the wife of his youth… they were married on December 26, 1987, and together they have two children Maresa Joanna McDowell and Mark Edward McDowell, who are both actively serving in ministry.
